The company is headquartered in Ljubljana and has business units in Kranj, Celje and Maribor.
Kontron SI was established in 2024 after the change of status of Kontron, d.o.o., i.e. the division of IT Business Units (comprehensive part of the Company’s assets referring to business activities of IT solutions), with the establishment of a new company as the universal legal successor of this part. The company Kontron SI, d. o. o. thus also succeeded its predecessor S&T Slovenia, which was merged with the company Iskratel in 2022 to form S&T Iskratel, which was later renamed Kontron, d. o. o. in July 2023.
Despite the status changes, Kontron SI and its team it have maintained their long-standing mission to provide their customers with reliable, flexible, accessible and secure solutions that have a positive impact on business efficiency and thus on business results. It is pursuing and realising its mission as an independent company in an even more focused way.

The company Kontron SI pursues its goals and business vision with a team of outstanding experts, led by the Managing Director Jure Fir.
Jure Fir was appointed as the Managing Director of Kontron SI immediately upon its establishment on October 1, 2024. In September 2023, he became the Managing Director of Kontron, d.o.o.. Prior to that, since the merger of S&T Slovenija and Iskratel, he successfully led the Infrastructure Solutions business unit as Executive Director and served as Deputy of Managing Director. He has more than 20 years of experience in the information solutions market, in sales, management, and building effective teams. He joined Slovenia’s Kontron (formerly known as S&T Slovenia) in 2010, where he initially headed the sales department for data center solutions. In 2016 he became the director of sales of infrastructure solutions, and five years later he was appointed a member of the management board responsible for the entire portfolio and organisation of infrastructure solutions business. His primary goals include developing a portfolio to effectively and specifically address the market and building a highly productive and agile organisation that responds reliably, efCEOficiently, and flexibly to changes.
