Jure Fir

Jure Fir was appointed to the position of the Managing Director of Slovenia’s Kontron in September 2023. Prior to that, he successfully managed the Infrastructure Solutions business unit as the Executive Director and acted as the Deputy Managing Director since the merger of S&T Slovenija and Iskratel. He has more than 20 years of experience in the information solutions market, in sales, management, and building effective teams. He joined Slovenia’s Kontron (formerly known as S&T Slovenia) in 2010, where he initially headed the sales department for data center solutions. In 2016 he became the director of sales of infrastructure solutions, and five years later he was appointed a member of the management board responsible for the entire portfolio and organisation of infrastructure solutions business. His primary goals include developing a portfolio to effectively and specifically address the market and building a highly productive and agile organisation that responds reliably, efficiently, and flexibly to changes.
