By implementing a network performance analysis tool, we gained comprehensive insight into the status of our IT system and reduced the time needed to eliminate operational challenges, particularly in the situations when the system is up but its performance does not meet our expectations. We also use the same tool to detect performance anomalies that may be a result of configuration errors or abuse/hacks to make a step towards EU NIS and GDPR compliance.
